Assessments

Lesson 1
During the Prezi Presentation, the students have 2 multiple choice questions to answer and two short answer questions to answer on google forms throughout the presentation.  There answers will be recorded and will allow me to see which students understand the main ideas and which ones do not.

Lesson 2
During the second lesson, the students will be in rotating centers.  During this time I will walk around the room and listen to students conversations and ask questions to determine what students know and what they do not.

Lesson 3
The students will have a webquest in which they have worksheets to fill out and a poster to make.   I will look at these documents to see if the students are grasping the concept.  I also have a rubric to fill out based on both their written portion and their presentation portion.

Lesson 4
During this portion the students will be presenting their posters from the webquest.  Afterwards they have a worksheet to fill out.  This will allow me to see what students have learned about each important person from the civil rights movement.  Part of the standard states: "Biographies can show how peoples’ actions have shaped the world in which we live."  I will be able to see from these worksheets who understands this concept.
